For many applications we use levelling and surveying equipment. These types of instruments measure geometry with angles and distances to map out a project. But these are delicate instruments and subject to damage easily if bumped and knocked about. When we say damage we don’t mean that it will no longer work, it is worse than that because it will keep working but not accurately. This may mean that your entire project is mapped out using a laser level that is no longer level.
